CEO of VANEST Visits IKBC Seoul Office – Strengthening Healthcare Business Cooperation
The Iraq–Korea Business Council (IKBC) welcomed Dr. Jegr M. Darbandi, Chief Executive Officer of VANEST, accompanied by Dr. Odey Mohammed Mezaal, Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Seoul, to its Seoul office on 2 November 2026.
VANEST specialises in the supply and distribution of medical and dental equipment, particularly Korean dental technologies, across international markets including Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. The company maintains multiple locations throughout Iraq and plays an active role in connecting Korean manufacturers with healthcare professionals in the region.
Dr. Darbandi’s visit to Korea coincided with a professional training programme involving a delegation of more than 50 dentists, aimed at enhancing their knowledge and exposure to Korean dental technologies and modern clinical practices.
During the meeting, discussions focused on IKBC’s activities in promoting bilateral trade, investment, and commercial partnerships between Iraq and the Republic of Korea, particularly in the healthcare and medical equipment sectors.
Dr. Darbandi expressed his appreciation for IKBC’s initiatives and conveyed his interest in becoming a member of the Council and actively participating in its future activities.
IKBC welcomed his interest and recognised the valuable contribution of companies such as VANEST in promoting Korean products and facilitating professional exchanges between Iraq and Korea.
The visit concluded with a mutual interest in maintaining close communication and exploring opportunities for future cooperation, further supporting IKBC’s mission to strengthen bilateral economic relations and develop meaningful partnerships between the Iraqi and Korean business communities.
